API rate limits

The API enforces limits on the API calls a user can make based on the fair use policy. The limits apply to the use of all APIs. Default API control settings are provided by the service.

When an API call is received, Ublion first checks the concurrency limit; and if the concurrency limit has been exceeded the API call is blocked and an error is returned. In the case where the concurrency limit has not been exceeded, the service checks the rate limit; and if the rate limit has been exceeded the API call is blocked and an error is returned.

The API rate limits apply for your multi-tenant environment.

Rate limits are:

  • 1,000 API calls / hour
  • 5,000 API calls / day
  • 20,000 API calls / month

The rate count and period are calculated dynamically each time an API call is received. The rate period represents a rolling window when API calls are counted.

We meter the usage of the following API end points:

  • /api/services/app/Document/DownloadUBL
  • /api/services/app/Document/DownloadPDF
